Seasons Greetings

We would like to thank you all for your support this year and wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and look forward to seeing you all real soon.

Spring styles have started to arrive into stock, with some of the styles already selling out before their arrival into the warehouse. Given the initial reaction to this range we are expecting it to be another bumper season. Please contact your sales rep to see what’s available for early January delivery.

Special offers will be available on autumn/winter product in January. Flyers will be sent out to you for your information or please contact your sales rep in the New Year.

The office and warehouse will be closed from 4pm Christmas Eve and will re-open on Monday 4th of January 2010.

Winter Knits

The heavy knits have come in and have been sent out to most of the stores with the medium knits to follow in this week. In addition to the Knits we have started receiving the last of our ever so popular check shirts as well as our smarter formal shirts.
These are all selling fast so to avoid disappointment it is advised that you contact your Rep or the Office ASAP.

Currently we have a wide range of smart shirts which have started to hit the shops and proving to be very successful.

We would also like to let you know that we have the first phase of the Spring Collection ready for you to view as well as a wide. Please contact your sales rep for further details or alternatively pop in to our showroom.

As we are nearing the festive season, we would just like to notify you that the last day for Deliveries dispatched from Guide London will be Tuesday the 23rd of December 2009, delivering to your shops on the 24th December 2009.

The office will only be open for reduced hours between Christmas and New Years, with everything back to normal from Monday the 4th January 2010.

New Autamn/Winter Checks

Building on an already successful check range, we have introduced some new long sleeve, roll-up check shirts for autumn/winter. With a colour palette of blues, reds and browns we have created a very wearable autumnal look ideal for anybody wanting to be seen in a casual shirt!

NEW HIGH COLLAR

After the huge success we had with our three Button High Collar shirt, we have decided to re vamp the shirt to keep it as always looking sharp. With subtle changes such as a new contrasts and a slightly lower collar stand we here at Guide feel that this is definitely the right move for this style.

Merino Knitwear

Our Merino “V” Neck knitwear has arrived into stock in both the plain and the plain with tipping.
We have decided to include the Merino Knits into our special offers lists as mentioned previously. They are moving fast so give us a call to avoid any disappointment.

Basics In Stock We have the full range of our Basic LS.71259 back in stock, with
sizes from S through to XXXL.

The LS.71259 is our basic formal shirt with a 2 button collar stand and a double-mitred cuff with free cufflinks. Its available in a range of colours – Please give us a call to find out about our special offer that we are
running on the Basics.

A/W INJECTION RANGE

To add to an already diverse A/W collection we have added a bit of spice to the range with some new garments featuring prints, embroidery and diamantes. This “Bling” collection are pure party pieces – and ideal for leading up to the festival season.
Long sleeve jersey’s with elaborate “coat of arms” prints and diamante detail, shirts with all over prints and matching contrasts, swirling prints in colours of black, white, brown and red. – A must for any party!

Our plain and plain with contrast tipping merino knitwear will be arriving in the next few day's.
Those of you that have placed orders will be receiving them shortly and for those of you that have not placed any orders for them we would advise you do so to avoid any disappointment as they are very well priced.

The point of sales material has also ready and we will be contacting the store to get quantities, should you wish to get more information on them please do not hesitate to contact us.

The first phase of the Autumn 2009 collection has started to be delivered into shops too which we have had a really good reaction too. With likes of Hs1700, Ls71659,Ls71623, Sj3437, Sj3426, Sj3428 are just a few of the styles that have be working really well (see brochure for garment details).

The pre-Christmas collection is now available to view and book for delivery from mid October onwards.
The collection consists of darker stripes with contrasts, also a few flock shirts on plains and stripes and Jacquard's.
We have also added some heavy chunky knitwear to the collection for those cold winter months.

Last week we sent out the Autumn 2009 brochure to our existing customers to give them a taster of what to expect for the A/W 2009/10 collection. We feel that this is the one of best Guide London collections to date and to promote the range we are going to send out some promotional “Point Of Sale” showcards to our stockist across the country. The current promotional adverts which have featured in Menswear Buyer have proved successful over the last few months and so we have decided to continue with this format – as pictured in the knitwear picture shown here.

Thanks to all of you that visited the stand at Moda this past week, where we showed our new Autumn/Winter range for 2009.
The show was a great success and we would like to welcome all our new customers to Guide.

Another success, with huge interest at the show was the LS 71659, the purple checked shirt with pockets, epaulettes, sleeve tabs and popper buttons. Other available colours are Plum & Red.

The Guide London 2009 Autumn/Winter shirt collection is an eclectic mix of checks, formal stripes, fashion plains and heavy washed casuals. Checks are a big feature this seasons and we have incorporated them into a range of half sleeve and short sleeve shirts – “trucker fleeces,” “stretch checks,” and “funky fashion styles.” We have newly introduced a small selection of soft, casual washed shirts, with subtle details and floral taping. In addition to these styles we have not compromised the classical Guide style, mixing basic stripes with bright contrasts and satin tapes and spicing up classic plains with multiple contrasts and columbia stitch detail.

After the success of the relaunch of the Guide jersey range last year, we have continued to expand our range of jersey – with a mixture of featuring 2-in1’s; colourful ‘Y’ necks and ribbed styles. All jersey styles are complimentary to the fabrics featured in the shirt range and feature similar subtle details, including split plackets, Columbia stitching, intricate pockets and herringbone taping.

This season we have introduced some key fashion pieces to our knitwear range. Plain ‘V’ necks and tanktops are given a breath of new life with contrasts on the edges and insides of ribs. We have some chunky styles featuring poplin epaulettes, embroidery and double zips.
